Work Mode

People shouldn’t read this blog. It’s total nonsense!

Anyway, I just have to rant right now because I’m feeling lazy. Yes – LAZY! But, I am not lazy to write this blog post because it doesn’t take much effort and it’s total nonsense.

Oh, you’re still reading! Yaye :) Anyway, I’m ranting about how Lazy I am today.

It’s a holiday here in the Philippines because it’s out new President Benigno “Noy Noy” Aquino III’s Inauguration. We officially have a new President! Yaye! I covered this event by the way by Anchoring the special coverage of the Global News Network (GNN) earlier this morning. Let me tell you, I only slept for one hour! We came home super late last night because we watched the midnight screening of the movie “Eclipse.”. I don’t want to talk about that here.

As I was saying, what I want to rant about is work! As a full time blogger and internet marketing entrepreneur, I hold my time. I work whenever I want, wherever I want. But the thing is, I still have to work for it :)

I’m just bantering here lol. I have piles of work load that I need to accomplish too but the thing is, when I’m not in the mood for work, it would take me forever to finish what I’m doing. However, when I have my juices flowing on and I’m on work mode, I will accomplish a lot in a super fast an efficient manner.

I have been really busy the last four days an I really worked my brains out.

Tonight, I have tasks lined up. But m brain is all just souped up. So, therefore, this nonsense blog post shall end and I shall retire to sleep now :P

Good night netizens :D

Chamomile Tea at Starbucks

The heat is on in Manila and I swear it’s not advisable to stay at home without aircondition. This doesn’t matter if you can pay for it!!! But if you are saving bucks then it’s time for some alternative… You can hang out in the mall ALL DAY!!!

If you are a blogger like me or you work from home, then you can bring your laptop to coffee shops with blasting aircondition and work there for 8 hours!!! YES!!! I’ve tried this once in Krispy Kreme. But if 8 hours is too much for you, you can just stay for 4 or 5 hours lol… Really, if you’re working, you wouldn’t notice how time flies fast.

Anyway, 10am and it’s very hot in our room so we went to Starbucks nearby and ordered myself some Chamomile tea! It only costs Php 90 and the served it with honey. I told them to serve it to me in a cup, that way I can refill it later with hot water (since the tea leaves are still ok for brewing). Then they gave me honey on the side.

Since I love bread, I ordered a bagel which costs Php 35. But, it is a very big bagel that it will definitely fill your tummy!!! If you want cream cheese with it, you add Php 20 more bucks… but I’m okay with the free butter and jam that comes with it ^_^. I was full with the bagel. and my total bill is Pho 125 – NOT BAD!!!

Sometimes, if you want a healthier alternative to frappes and doughnuts that can make you fat then order something healthier like a simple brewed tea (not the lattes or the ones with cream and sugar) and healthy bread (wheat bagel).

Till next time… STAY HEALTHY FOLKS!

Closing Time

Closing time for the new year and what am I doing?

December 29, 2009

Supposedly my last day at the office.  I cried when my London counterpart called me to say “good luck” and “good bye.”  It didn’t sink in to me at first that I was leaving because I think I was still busy at work transitioning my process.

Hush

I’ve been writing on my secret blog. It’s open to everyone, but it’s sprinkled with a hidden identity.  No one would have guessed it’s mine.  There’s no trace to it.  Unless you think you’re the subject :P

Sometimes I wonder, what’s the point in this?  It’s for me to share a subtle secret to the world with anonymity.  It’s for those who can relate, but need not know who the real author is.  No one will ever know… Hush…

Yes, I Folk Danced before – Dancing the Sinalampati

I know right!

My grade school and high school life flashed before me!  Since I will be out of job soon :P , I will have more time to do what I love to do best – DANCING!  I am born a dancer!  and I love music!  If you deprive me of these two I’d die!

Anyway, the main reason why my weight in high school remained in the range of 80 lbs to 90 lbs despite the fact that I eat breakfast TWICE and I eat like a guy, is because I dance whenever chance I get!  I represented my school before through dance competitions particularly Folk-dancing (hardy-har-har).  It doesn’t sound cool but since I went to an all-girl school (St. Scholastica’s Academy – Bacolod) and there were not much guys to flirt with… I dedicated my time to DANCING!

NOPSSCEA Competitions

I can’t count anymore the many times I represented our school for inter-school and regional championships.  Yes – Folk Dancing is a competition … It is a “sport” and I was one of the dancers (together with my best buddies Angh and Drei) who represented our school for NOPSSCEA (Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association).

Sinalampati – Folk Dance

Sinalampati is actually a “registered” Folk Dance in our Philippine Literature.  When you compete for Folk Dances, you need to follow the rules.  For this particular dance you have a “recipe” – a specific choreography in the official Philippine Musical Literature books that you need to follow.  If you drive away from the choreography, you would get deductions.  The only way you could beat others in this dance is the execution and your “creative introduction and ending” which you can change creatively.

The word “sinalampati” means “dove-like”. It imitates the action of the mother dove fondling, caressing and feedingits young. Only girls take part in this particular feminine dance.  This particular dance also involves a lot of “hopping” as it imitates the dove’s gesture… hopping :D   So if you wonder why I got nice muscles on my legs… it’s because I had to train for this for almost 6 years in my life…  All the hopping toned my legs well.

Here’s a sample of a sinalampati dance.  This is actually the best Sinalampati dance I have ever seen!  and they have the nicest costume!!! and the BEST Choreography… whoever this team is… Congratulations!  Very classy, very nice!  You have made the Philippine Literature very proud.

Find me in the picture below. :P LOL

This is just one of the many things I miss in high school…

Did I also tell you that I’m a cheerleader? Well, that’s another story and it involves another blog post :P Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog by entering your email address below if you want updates of my dancing lol

XD Love lots!
